I retired early this year and have found the wonderful peace that comes from going to our local lakes (nearly every day) Even when the fish aren't biting, there is always something to photograph. I was lucky enough to get a shot of a Northern water snake dragging a big bass to the edge of shore and started to swallow it! Look for it in the Virginia Wildlife Magazine this summer!! (Fingers crossed) Critters are marvelous! Happy New Year!
